Outright Winner in Home Theatre Loudspeaker Category
KEF's KHT3005 home theatre speaker system has been declared an outright winner of a highly prestigious European Imaging and Sound Association Award (EISA) - in the Home Theatre Loudspeaker category for 2006-7.
The Associations citation reads: With design considerations now a priority for loudspeaker manufacturers, KEF continues to offer striking modern sub/sat loudspeaker systems with its all-new KHT3005 speaker system. This package provides easy living room integration, along with an immersive sound experience. The revised 114 mm Uni-Q? drivers in the satellites, using KEFs patented sealed-suspension technology, provide a clean and powerful sound, while the dedicated HTC3001 centre speaker is augmented with two additional mid/bass drivers to support the coaxial main driver, promoting better dialogue reproduction. Supporting these, the versatile HTB2 subwoofer with its 10-inch driver and passive radiator, delivers more controlled bass than you might expect from such a compact and attractive enclosure.
